Thanks for your comprehensive review of Wealthy Affiliate. Who would have thought college students could earn money easily while attending classes. I love that there’s a free version and that gives you lots of value and allows you to build your own site. Most “free” versions of make money online products don’t give you the tools to build your own website. Having a free version makes this program accessible to people who can’t afford the $49 and $99 versions.
Yes, if I was a college student and had the knowledge about affiliate marketing that I have now ( and growing) I would take the premium and run with it! It may just out last the college degree. Anyway the starter gives a chance to make up their mind

I saw your article and decide I must lay this comment. I have been it Wealthy Affiliate for 3 years and I am not thinking of changing my mind. The platfodm is a go to website if you are interested in building a sustainable online income. Like you rightly pointed out, they are not a make money quick website. But a dedicated website teaching and creating a conducive environment to help you build a sistainable income

I have been a member of Wealthy Affiliate for years now and I must admit that this is not only an excellent source of income for college students, but everyone. They have all the tools you need in one platform including all the training so all you need to do is get your ideas out there. I have a son who is in college, but also has a disability, so working in a restaurant or so is sadly not possible. Could he build an online business rather quickly or does it take some time to get a decent income? I think that for affiliate marketing, you would need to think on a longer time, or am I seeing this wrong? I will send him this article, thanks very much!
Hi Lizzy, In answer to your question. Yes, one of the first task within the training is having a website.Here at Wealthy affiliate the training and support is second to none in affiliate marketing. Yes, it will take some time to “Build Out” his website as this will include a learning curve. As far as income from his business, in most cases there will not be immediate income.
I can’t say when he would begin seeing income, however, if he were to join WA ( Wealthy Affiliate ) and stick to the training he will have a much better chance of seeing income sooner.

In answer to your question, it will take some time because there is a learning curve to make money by means of affiliate marketing online, however, those who stick to the training at Wealthy Affiliate and really stick to it and apply the instructions to their website could see traffic to their website in about six months and perhaps a few sales.

Thank you for the excellent article and overview of the Wealthy Affiliate marketing program. I have been looking for this kind of experiential, all-in-one approach to website building for quite some time but it took me way too long to discover and I fear I have wasted to much time.
Is this kind of strategy relevant to someone who already has an existing website with a good amount of content or so you have to follow these principles from start to finish in order to achieve the goal of sustainable income?

This is so true – I can’t imagine doing my website work without WA support! I mean I did have websites before WA – but since I joined WA last year, I realized how much I didn’t know, and how what I doing was like throwing spaghetti on the wall! WA takes you from baby steps onto sky being the limit! But it’s not just the training module – what I really appreciate about WA, something that’s invaluable for me & I don’t know if one can get that at this price is the support system. You can ask any question at any time of the day and it will be answered by someone with experience! Also, any technical issues related to the website – 95% issues solved within 24 hours! Since I’m not very tech savvy, this is gold for me!
